VCF Academy Juvenil sides make positive start to calendar year

VCF Academy Juvenil sides returned to action over a month later. Both Juvenil sides had tough away meetings on their respective returns coming away with positive results from their respective games in hand.
Juvenil A edged CD Castellón by 1-2 in their visit to the Miquel Soler a postponed fixture from matchday 8 Grupo VII-B División de Honor. It was a closed first half and the second half opened up through goals from Javi Guerra and Salas. A late goal from the visitors forced them to keep their wits about them to see it out until the final whistle.
Juvenil B played out a goalless draw away to CD Roda a postponed matchday wich dates back to matchday 9 grupo VIII-B Liga Nacional which saw Jose Luis Bravo’s debut in the dugout which showcased the defensive solidity about them since the start of the season with only one goal conceded thus far.
